Hold Fast

(In response to a sermon series on 2 Tim. 3)

Beware the last days

the ways of the lost be proven.

Beware the forgotten virtues

which now hold nothing but ruin.

Beware the men of lofty goals

and shallow souls;

the men of days to come,

the people of some and sum.

Hold fast. Hold fast

to the words of truth

hold fast-

to the first and last

hold fast, hold fast.

And see the eternal sea,

the final beginning;

a place for all and He

will choose our ending.
